Once all marked areas are trenched and prepped, the mixing process begins. At this point we make
our concrete blend, adding reinforcement fibers and color. The mix is dumped into a wheel barrow
and taken to the curb machine where the cement will be extruded and finished to give it the final
look. During this process, steel cable is placed through the center of the edging. Through the
harsh frost and freeze cycles of Maine winters, this cable prevents the curb from separating and
heaving, making our edging the strongest, longest lasting on the market.
